FishbowlToGo provides a streamlined solution for accessing and managing content from Oracle WebCenter Content (UCM) directly on an iPhone. While designed for ease of use, it offers a comprehensive set of features suitable for professional environments, including workflow review, check-in capabilities, and native file access.

Core functionalities of the application include:

• Ability to search for content by title, author, content ID, or full-text search.
• In-app viewing support for common file formats such as PDFs, Microsoft Office documents, images, videos, and web content.
• Options to email items or open them in other applications for viewing or editing.
• Access to basic document metadata for quick reference.
• Ability to mark files as "Favorites" for expedited access.
• Viewing of your assigned workflow items directly within the app.
• Fishbowl AutoConnect technology facilitating seamless connection to Oracle WebCenter Content.

Premium features, available with the Content Server component, include:

• Workflow Review: capabilities to view, approve, or reject workflow tasks.
• Native file download to facilitate offline access.
• Checking in photos directly from your device's camera or photo library.
• Uploading files from other applications such as email attachments, notes, or presentation tools.
• Customizable mobile check-in profiles tailored for common upload scenarios such as event documentation or expense capture.

The application supports integration with various WebCenter environments. Users can connect their Content Server regardless of location provided the server can be reached through the network. Supported environments include:

• Oracle UCM 10g, Oracle WebCenter Content 11g, and Oracle WebCenter Content 12c
• Authentication methods such as Basic Authentication, Forms-Based Authentication, and OAM. Single Sign-On (SSO) is currently not supported.

It is important to note that connectivity depends on network accessibility. If your organization utilizes internal networks or VPNs to protect WebCenter Content, appropriate VPN configurations may be necessary to ensure proper app functionality.
